Do you not note the abject hypocrisy in calling for patience anytime an open Islamist goes on jihad pending “all the facts” which invariably lead to the self-serving and contorted conclusions that they were driven to murder by the intolerance of people like, um, me?
I am really getting tired of being called the bad guy. Every single bad outcome in this world has its blame laid at my feet, and while it is flattering to be considered so very nearly omnipotent, it is getting more than a little old and remains as far from the truth as it ever was.
Bluntly, the more you enable those who demonize roughly 50% of the country while ignoring the reality of the various woes we are blamed for, the further you paint yourselves into an ideological corner wherein the only solution you leave yourselves will be to agree to violently punish those who don’t think like the gatekeepers of your information.
And if that happens, my friends, you will find many reasons to regret your decision to abdicate your thought & judgment to those in the media, in academia, and in politics who, in the pursuit of power, never let a crisis go to waste*. Assuming of course, that you survive the broader violence you will have bred in the vain attempt to deal with the real issues of the world in ways that don’t offend your tender sensibilities.
